Dating back to the 16th century, the village is built at the foot of Christie Eleison and Kyrie Eleison, remarkable peaks whose names recall the episode of the Giovannali, condemned and sacrificed by the Church as heretics and licentious. Ghisoni is the ideal starting point for hikes and walks. The forests of Marmanu on the D69 and Sorba offer trails accessible to all. In the village, take a look at the bronze statue of Neptune, the Romanesque church of Santa-Maria and the parish church. In the Santa-Croce chapel, Piedicroce sculptor Ignace Raffali has created a beautiful descent from the cross.
