Overlooking the Vecchio valley, Vivario is a village of character with tall old houses. You can visit its parish church of St. Peter and the links, as well as the chapels in the various hamlets that make up the municipality. Surrounded by circuses and high peaks, the village is also a cross-country ski resort in winter. In the Vecchio valley, numerous hikes allow you to admire magnificent landscapes, such as the English waterfall and the caves. The forest of Vizzavona is famous for its superb hundred-year-old lariccio pines and its rich flora. The commune is crossed by the Bastia-Ajaccio line of the Corsican Railways.
