From a purely geographical point of view, Noceta is the epicentre of Corsica. The village is particularly known for its bridge over the Vecchio river, known as the "Eiffel bridge", which offers a breathtaking view of the river. It is even possible to swim there. Noceta is built on a promontory overlooking the banks of the Vecchio, and offers beautiful possibilities for walks in the forest of Padula, among its large lariccio pines. In the village, apart from the ruins of a castle of the Lords of Lupo, known for their incessant political intrigues, one can also see its Romanesque church of Saint-Paul, with its spire bell tower of architecture uncommon in Corsica.
