Vezzani, a mountain village at 800 m altitude, dominates the Tagnone valley in the heart of a forest of various species where laricio pines predominate. Its baroque style church of L'Annunziata and an imposing fountain "Les Trois Grâces" give their names to the two main squares. Known since antiquity, it was for a long time a prosperous town thanks to tourism, its Tana copper mine and the forest thanks to the export of laricio pine seeds to the continent and Europe for reforestation. The Festa di u legnu è di a furesta ("Feast of the wood and the forest") is organised every year at the beginning of August.
