Once built around a castle that no longer exists, this village lies at the foot of Mount San Petru, which rises to 1,400 m above sea level. Don't miss: the convent of Saint-François with its carved wooden Christ, the church of Saint-Nicolas, rebuilt in 1870, numerous manor houses with their architectural details, the Settiva dolmen, the Genoese Abra bridge, visible from the RT40, a few kilometers past the village in the direction of Ajaccio. It's also a mecca for quality artisanal production, with cheeses from the Taravo cooperative, Biortu jams, the Ettori artisanal cookie factory and artisanal goat's cheese from the Tafanelli sheepfold.
