Ciamannacce is a typical Corsican village, with its unmissable historical and pastoral heritage, grouped on a hillside with a beautiful homogeneous architecture of granite houses with tiled roofs. The ruins of ancient towers on the surrounding peaks, as well as grape crushers can be found further on. The neo-Romanesque parish church, with its lantern tower on the façade, dates from 1930. However, there is a tabernacle dating from the Italian Renaissance, as well as 16th and 17th century frescoes depicting the Virgin and Child. The church also contains a painted wooden Christ reminiscent of Byzantine art.
