Known as the birthplace of Rabelais, Seuilly has about 400 inhabitants. Watered by the Négron and the Quincampoix, 8 km southwest of Chinon on the D24, it is a peaceful and charming village with a rich heritage. There is a local house in the old abbey with exhibitions and a store selling local products. Several hiking trails start from Seuilly, which is also home to the house of La Devinière where you will discover the magnificent museum dedicated to the local child. Another jewel of the local heritage, the castle of Coudray-Montpensier, whose origin dates back to the 14th century, is currently being restored
