We don't come to Sarlat to eat burgers, but if we're pressed and not very rich, fast food has good, especially this one. Because these Tontons play it without flinching the client. Marion, Julien and all the team realize every minute and everything is made home. They peel their potatoes for fresh fries, fill on demand their burgers, the meat of their kebab cut to the knife is delicious and the onions come back to la plancha, briefly… we ask again. Also a map of crosses, salty or sweet crepes, paninis, milkshakes, etc.

Claire, German, works in the kitchen and Léo, Swiss, works in the dining room. These two have undoubtedly the sense of the land but also the sense of hospitality and good cuisine. This snack-bar-restaurant with 5 acres of greenery, is situated in a pleasant and relaxing setting of the creek. La Table du Poète was taken over by Christelle Perot Tevenin. She has preserved the beautiful setting made of old stones and exposed beams where the tables are sufficiently spaced to keep some privacy. In the basement, a beautiful vaulted cellar can accommodate a small group. Only 23 seats so that the customer feels at home. The fresh seasonal products are in the spotlight and the dishes are displayed on the slate. The wine is served by the glass, jug or bottle. The welcome is warm and the manager is passionate about her products.

Cathy and Franco Pischedda, who had a career in the industry, sold their guesthouse in Gironde to take over this hotel-restaurant, thus making an old dream come true. They renovated the dining room and the kitchen. Josiane Biche, the former owner, composed traditional menus with local products for them. In the lunch formula: starter buffet, dish of the day and dessert buffet. Duck breast is one of the house's specialties. The nine rooms are very clean and comfortable. Some open onto a superb park bordered by a stream, others, with double glazing, are facing the street. The welcome is family and very pleasant. It is a stopover that offers an excellent price-quality ratio.

Delphine and Stéphane Bazingette took over the Hôtel du Parc. The restaurant has been refurbished, the room is nicely contemporary in gray and white and the shady terrace is a pure happiness on sunny days. The menu includes 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts in order to favor fresh products and every day, it is complemented by suggestions from the chef according to the season. The dishes are festivals of flavors: shrimp fritters and mashed avocado with sweet and sour sauce, back of cod sauce chorizo, pilaf rice and chorizo cream, custard and strawberry coulis or brioche french toast, chantilly and gooseberry ice-cream. Hamburgers are also present on the menu for children and adults... Delphine's service is smiling and efficient. A beautiful renaissance for the restaurant of Hôtel du Parc. 

As its name suggests, good pizzas, made from artisanal dough, to eat on the spot or to take away. Three sizes available according to appetites: 26 cm, 30 cm or 40 cm, made with fresh cream or tomato sauce. A wide choice, classics, specials, cheeses, vegetarians....

Frédéric Nereau, the boss of Pharaoh Pizza in Coulounieix-Chamiers, is also located in Toulon. Uncle Pizza - this is the name attributed to him by his nephew - is a beautiful space to enjoy the pizzas made by the one who came third to the global competition of pizzaïolos in 2013… The pizzas are graded according to their trim, which is perfect for quick choice. The Dordogne, for local colour, is made up of tomatoes, gizzards, duck magret, salad, foie gras, fig vinegar, cheese. She is very good and well dressed. This establishment was taken over by Marie Mulet, manager of Grand Hôtel Pélisson. The interior is contemporary. In summer, a large terrace with 80 seats, protected by large blinds, overlooks the square.

Bordering the Pécharmant vineyards, at the gates of Bergerac, this former stagecoach of the late eighteenth century is full of charm. Eric Brakman has been able to impose his gastronomic touch on La Feuillade. The beautiful and spacious dining room is always an invitation to culinary journeys, as is the covered terrace. On the plate, it's a nice surprise. The unique menu allows you to choose between 4 starters and 6 main courses. For desserts, all the suggestions are on the slate according to the chef's mood (example: chocolate fondant, vanilla ice cream, red fruits and whipped cream). It is a traditional and inventive cuisine of a chef who knows how to optimize the flavours of the dishes used. As he only works with fresh produce, his menu is very changeable, depending on the season: semi-cooked duck foie gras, spicy mango coulis or Rossini style pig's foot toast. For the dishes: a ground/sea (sweetbreads and prawns with crunchy vegetables) or a deglazed veal liver with balsamic vinegar, garlic and chives. The fish are always displayed à la carte according to the arrivals. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. At the end of the service, the chef sometimes comes to greet his customers to find out if everything went well.

For those who like meat, this is the place to be. It is still 100% French and at a competitive price. As for the service, the sheriff and his team, always smiling and dynamic, are very efficient. In addition to the must-eat hamburgers, including the mythical Country Burger with its two potato pancakes as buns, tartares, grilled meats, salads, etc., the menu displays specialties such as the bison steak, the texane dish (chili con carne, caramelized ribs 150g, Buffalo wings, barbecue sauce with baked potato) or the beef Ribs fondant and tasty made with a Bourbon Barbecue sauce. A real country table where Marie-Christine Huard welcomes you without fuss. It's all in good taste, even the flowered oilcloth that reminds us of our youth. You sit down in the family dining room, the atmosphere is warm and you quickly get to know the neighbours. Here we raise poultry and grow vegetables, which means that everything on the plate is fresh. The cuisine is simple, based on ancestral recipes such as the famous tourain, foie gras, mique or stuffed chicken, served by reservation

After 9 years on board the Palmyra, Caroline and Philippe took over from this well-located establishment in the village. Jimmy and Grisany Haniff took over from Guyana, where they were already working in the hotel and restaurant business. After a period of transition and adaptation, they have kept their minds on old stones and offer themed evenings, Halloween and others. In winter, you can spend a moment around the pool table. On sunny days, the tables set up in the garden are a pleasant stopover on the way to the holidays. The daily menu includes starter, main course, cheese, dessert and wine. Since 1992 Flamingo is Mexico in the heart of the Périgord. You can enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine, home-made burgers and original dishes, in a typical setting and a musical atmosphere. To the map all the great classics: guacamole and nachos, quesadillas, fajitas, enchiladas, chili con carne but also a small perigourdine touch in the duck pan to the nucleus of foie gras.

This Duo is very pleasant whether it's in winter when you can sit in a large modern dining room where tables are large and well spaced, or in summer on the sunny terrace equipped with contemporary furniture, sofas and armchairs to simply have a drink, and a playground for children. The cuisine adapts to the seasons and all the products used are local. The menu served only for dinner and Sunday is very local: Borrèze trout duo (trout tartare and homemade smoked trout) or tarte tatin with cherry tomatoes and red mullet basil, skewer of "fish Duo" or whole duck breast grilled over a wood fire. Well-garnished salads such as the Pleinefage (salad, gizzard and duck manchon, homemade half-cooked foie gras and walnuts) and grilled meats are the specialties of the house as well as the homemade ice creams of Bruno Marien in Vézac. A space is dedicated to the sale of products of producers supplying the bistro as well as some craftsmen sculptors, painter or potter.

Michelle Dauvissat receives in a 1870 hostellerie. Side kitchen, the chef has good know-how and the local menu is a nice business: a delicious pot of pot in the light sauce, a Cassoulet of Périgord or of a of black lieu sauce and to finish a tartelette nut. The beautiful dining room is replaced by a large shaded terrace. As for the service, too, everything is perfect. The rooms are classic but full of colours.
