Travel Guide Ruifang 瑞芳

Ruifang itself is not of particular interest, but it is an essential road junction if you are heading for the must-see mining towns of Chiufen and Jinguashi, or wish to take the train to Pingxi, following one of Taiwan's most charming little railway lines. We have selected three must-see stops, Shifen, Pingxi and Qingtong. The size of the city is modest, and can therefore allow you, in transit, to take a stroll through the streets facing the station. Some old shops, a market and excellent restaurants (at very competitive prices) are on offer. Take a walk to the river, only 5-10 minutes from the train station.
