Travel Guide Sanxia 三峽

The city of Sanxia owes its fame to the temple of Zushi which is a perfect example of Taiwanese know-how. The temple has undergone many renovations, but it has lost none of its lustre and is still the pride of the city. For the rest, the old streets in the surrounding area, which have been well renovated and enhanced in recent years, complement the visit to Yingge, which is only a few kilometres away. There are many old shops and beautifully restored old houses. Very pleasant place that is worth the detour if you pass by Yingge. The easiest way to get there is the Taichi bus line from the Soochow University campus to Sanshia.
