It is a town of about 1,000 inhabitants located on the banks of the Besaya River. Already in the 18th century, its port was used for iron and wheat trade. Although small, the municipality seems to have focused on the leisure activities of its inhabitants, and along the way you will come across an unusual concentration of sports facilities, from the skatepark to the racetrack to the cross-fit gym. A few shops and restaurants also make it a fairly convenient stop for refreshments. This makes up for the lack of tourist and cultural interest in the town, and you can move on once you've finished shopping.
