As you enter this municipality of 850 inhabitants, you can see the hermitage of the Virgen del Otero, the local patron saint, on the heights. Frómista conserves a rich religious heritage, and in particular a beautiful example of Romanesque architecture with its church of San Martín. You can also visit the church of Santa María del Castillo and its Vestigia exhibition, which recounts the history of the municipality and of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago, as well as the church of San Pedro (16th century) with its Renaissance façade. The town has all the services (restaurants, bars, grocery stores, bakeries, etc.).
