More than 40 km northwest of Valladolid, the Ciudad de los Almirantes has managed to preserve its cultural and religious heritage. From the Calle Mayor with its wooden beams and flooring punctuated with old slabs to the Puerta de Ajújar, a remnant of the city wall, passing through its sumptuous churches and the Canal de Castilla, the walk takes us back in time. Located in the church of Santa Cruz, the Museum of the Holy Week, one of the most important in Spain, houses a beautiful collection of sculptures from the 15th to the 20th century. The San Francisco museum, adjacent to the tourist office, is worth a visit for its sacred artworks
