In the west of Valladolid, on 2,000 hectares of vineyards, red wine is produced from tempranillo grapes, as well as rosé and white wine. In addition to its famous wine, Toro also seduces with its architectural ensemble. Entering the city through the Santa Catalina Gate, you can see the massive shape of the prehistoric stone bull that gave it its name. From the Paseo de l'Espolón, you can see the collegiate church of Santa María la Mayor (12th century), a harmonious blend of Romanesque and Gothic. The city also reveals the remains of a wall dating from the year 910, beautiful churches and some palaces and monasteries
