IGLESIA SAN MARTÍN

Founded by Doña Mayor of Castile, widow of Sancho III of Navarre, at the beginning of the 11th century, the church is one of the most emblematic buildings of Romanesque art in Europe. The interior conceals a rich sculpted decoration that can be appreciated in the capitals of the columns: biblical passage, animal or vegetable decoration.
