From the bifaces of prehistory, exhibited in the Zorn museum, to the contemporary gate of the sculptor Mathieu Mercier on the market place, passing by the admirable Saint-Wendelin chapel, whose present form dates from the 15th century, all periods have left their mark. The funerary furniture of the Lady of Hochfelden, a princess of the steppes who came in the wake of Attila, is well known to historians. Hochfelden has always been an important crossroads for the movement of people and goods. The former post office, now a restaurant, and the independent Meteor Brewery, founded in 1640, are privileged witnesses of this.
