A small wine-producing village in the Beaujolais region that has merged with the new commune of Nuelles. This village is best known for its quarries from which the famous golden stones were extracted for five centuries. The village has a beautiful built heritage: Romanesque church hiding a sarcophagus under its foundations, presbytery, former priory, old school in the center of town, washhouse fed by the stream of the Fountain, but also beautiful village houses in golden stone, typical Beaujolais farms or the remains of a castle in the hamlet of Guerin. Pleasant walks on a territory with varied landscapes alternating vineyards, meadows and forests
