This summer, there are always buoys on the terrace. However, there is no risk of drowning. The Rhône is not far, but come on! Chez les Garçons is the relaxed class. It is the sweet way in which you are asked your first name when booking -because you should book not to fall into the water - and in which you are welcomed in a simple way, as a friend who comes to eat at home.  Chez les Garçons is a bouchon even down to its decoration, with an incredible number of heteroclite objects that perfectly blends together. Good taste, it's everywhere. The small summer terrace is a boon, but the dining room is a refuge where everyone finds their way. You feel comfortable. Bruno and Patrick are lovely people who pamper you before, during and after the service, always with a kind word. On the menu, as in true bouchons, you won't find necessarily Lyon specialties but fresh ingredients and the daily specials are really Lyon ... in tune with the times. It is thus difficult to tell you what you will eat, according to the inspiration of the market and the season, but Futé enjoyed an Oriental Pie served with a mint sauce, semolina and salad. A treat. The lemon pie, homemade of course, at the time of dessert, was excellent. Impressive with simplicity and kindness.

Rather unexpected as a location for one of the very few Greek restaurants in the city, but we like to get together in the evening, sitting on the terrace near the station of Brotteaux to enjoy the sun-drenched specialities with friends. In a decor dominated by the blue and the Ancient frescoes, we let ourselves be driven on the coasts of the Mediterranean to enjoy the best of the Greek and Cretan cuisine. All the specialities are homemade and prepared with olive oil that is beneficial for the health. With a bit of luck, you can dine to the sound of a folk orchestra and dance the sirtaki around the tables. For a first approach of this cuisine more diverse than it would seem, Futé recommend the tasting menu at €22.50 with its plate of starters, then a famous moussaka, the national dish. But you have to return quickly to enjoy the squid stuffed with spinach, fillets of red mullet with olive oil and rosemary or pork sausages, red and green peppers, onions and tomato sauce, without missing the youvetsi moshari, this beef with tomato, or the grilled lamb chop with herbs... We always keep a place for a fabulous yoghurt with honey and nuts or a baklava. A definitively divine place.

Start with the welcome of Madame, also at the comfort behind the counter, in a cosy room with its colourful lights and decorated walls. Another wonder is the kitchen of a chef trained in the best lyon houses and who only work fresh products. The menu of the day - 2 entrances, meat, always of French origin, and a fish - desserts - with seasonal saison made of high quality - is a model of its kind. We also appreciate the "big entries" with beautiful salad compositions, to follow a plate of mullet filets with citrus agrumes or a Lyon andouillette sauce to old mustard sauce. Features, perfect tajines and a famous "Couscous des Sables", served only on Thursday midday and Evening. A is not lacking under any pretext. An address that can accommodate your family or private events up to 50 people. A coup de coeur du Smart.

Petit Smart had not yet integrated this address, opened two years ago, into the heart of the city.
