To the east of Saint-Vallier, through a picturesque gorge along the Galaure, you reach Saint-Uze, which draws its wealth from ceramics. Saint-Uze has a long tradition of pottery, but it is especially the exploitation of kaolin deposits by the Revol family from the 18th century that brings the village out of the shadows. Saint-Uze innovated from then on, moving from traditional red stoneware pottery to brown porcelain. This industrial history has left its mark on a village with charming little streets and old houses, where you can admire the Romanesque chapel of Sainte-Euphémie from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the valley.
