On the borders of 4 departments (Ardèche, Loire, Isère and Rhône), in a green valley, Bourg-Argental is a pleasant village in the Parc du Pilat which has managed to preserve its historical and natural heritage. Medieval past with some buildings of the city center dating from the 12th century and the castle that houses the tourist office, which was built on a defense tower of the old town. Industrial past when the town knew the boom of silk weaving in the 19th century.
