Cheval-Blanc, a village located on the southern slope of the Luberon, dotted with natural spots suitable for walks. The village is very young, as it was born during the Revolution. The hamlet was the crossing point to the Bouches-du-Rhône, with the ferries crossing the Durance. There was no bridge in Cavaillon at that time. In any case, the meeting point for the traders was an inn where the white horse pulled the ferry across; an animal so exceptional, or at least so appreciated, that it gave its name to the village. The landscapes harmonize naturally and subtly between the water and the mountains. The Carpentras canal gives rhythm to the landscape.
