It is one of the very first picturesque villages perched high up on the outskirts of Cavaillon. Above, the historic village and its church perched on the remains of limestone quarries. Below, the Carpentras canal and its superb Saint-Pierre mill. Its periphery is crossed by the national road, it is a place of residence run by the people of the region and the heart of the village is authentic. It is nestled against the rock of the Luberon. It was once home to the stonemasons - hence its name - and is now listed in the inventory of monuments and natural sites. Its theatre des Carrières and its Saint-Pierre mill are worth a stop.
