Located between Crépy-en-Valois, Compiègne and Senlis, this village hides a small cultural heritage specific to its history, such as the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church and its four fountains. Its etymology refers to it precisely and would come from Sanctinae, or "the holy fountains". One of them, the Saint-Martin fountain, was once renowned for its healing properties. Saintines is located very close to the Autumn River, which flows north of the village.
