Pretty village serving as a starting point for many hikes on the GR 652 and to discover the "couasne" (dead arm) of Floirac via an interpretation trail. The inhabitants have kept the authenticity of the houses surrounding the church and the village tower. Fifteen dolmens have been recorded in the vicinity of Foirac, testifying to human activity around 2000 BC. Floirac is bordered to the north by the Dordogne and to the south by a circus that makes paragliders happy with a takeoff in Soult.
