In Latin, cepium means orchard, but in season it is chasselas that you will taste here. This village is also a history of churches. The first church of the village, Sainte-Foy church, is mentioned in 1153 and entirely rebuilt in the 18th century. The facade has one of these famous bell-walls, here triangular. The Saint-Pierre church in the centre of the village was rebuilt in the first half of the 16th century. In 1847, a carpenter carried out restoration work on the roof, the panelling and the choir. The other parish church, Saint-Pierre-de-Quittimont, was built at the same time as this medieval town, in the 12th century
