Clermont-Dessous or Clarus Mons for the hill with the clear tones and Dessous because downstream of the Garonne compared to Agen. This village has the originality that it is in fact a commune which is really composed of five villages, three hamlets, three churches and three cemeteries in this case Clermont-Dessous, Saint-Médard, Puymasson, Lapouleille and Fourtic, this last one being the "administrative center" with the city hall and the school. The historical village which, because of its elevated position and its alleys, including a walkway allowing to go around it, attracts many tourists is Clermont-Dessous. There is also a 13th century castle.
