Two gorges (Tarn and Jonte), three causses (Sauveterre, Noir, Méjean) lead to Le Rozier, the starting point of a beautiful hike (half an hour walk) towards the Capluc rock which bears the ruins of a castle and old caussenarde houses. By a stone staircase and metal ladders, the brave can reach the summit which carries a cross and from where one embraces an extraordinary panorama of Southern Lozere and its natural beauties. Don't forget to take a look at the monument erected to the glory of Edouard-Alfred Martel, considered as the founder of modern speleology and one of the initiators of Lozere tourism.
