Between L'Hospitalet-de-Larzac and La Couvertoirade, this medieval commandery is the largest Templar and Hospitaller headquarters in southern France. A remarkable example of a fortified place, Sainte-Eulalie is made up of a network of medieval streets and alleys. It has kept its austere enclosure, made of a wall and towers built in the 15th century by the Hospitallers. The main gate leads to the residence of the commanders. In the 17th century, one of them made it a more comfortable residence than the medieval building. The frescoed staircase, the central fireplace, the large windows and the balcony are still to be seen today.
