A village with character, Puéchabon has a strong medieval identity. Its strategic position in the heights led to the settlement of its inhabitants in the 11th century. A circulation was then formed around the fort from the same period, of which unfortunately no trace remains. The oldest visible monument in the village is St Peter's Church, a chapel once attached to a castle. Nowadays, the village lives on livestock and forestry, an economy that contributes to its strong identity and authentic character.
