Trèves is nestled in the heart of the Trévezel gorges, named after the river that runs through it. It is a charming village whose activity was linked to mining, lead and zinc. Nowadays, the village is involved in viticulture (I.G.P Cévennes wines), honey production and tourism. The Regard rock dominates this village with its medieval streets. Some visits not to be missed; caves, portion of Via Strata (Roman road), 13th century Romanesque style church, Roman bridge, the Fort of Baume. But also several natural sites around the village. A lake in the center of the village with waterfalls and a swimming area provides a little freshness.
