This small village takes its name from a Gauloise enclosure, the remains of which are found in the surrounding woods. In addition to its church, Saint-Clément retains the traces of a medieval castle and numerous dependencies that testify to the diversity of its productions: oil mill, bergery, lime oven… Around the commune, the landscape dominated by the Bois de Paris massif is planted with typical Mediterranean cultures such as vineyards or olive trees.
