Perched on a promontory overlooking the Vidourle, Lecques has the charm of the small medieval villages of the south of France. Its castle, formerly owned by Baron Abdias de Beaumont de Bertichères, was built in the twelfth century and reworked significantly in the xixe, as well as its church. On the spot, a short walk allows picnic on the banks of the Quiquilhan, or stab a head in the capricious river garment.
