At the heart of a valley where the Aubette flows, Théméricourt is a small village of less than 300 souls. Peaceful and rural, it is surrounded by woods and features typical Vexin stone farmhouses and a 12th-century church. The castle's charming site has in turn sheltered the German army, victims of the Indochina war, the former dictator of Haiti (a disastrous era for its heritage...) and, since 1995, the home of the French Vexin Regional Nature Park. This ideal setting will enable you to find out even more about the Park. A detour to this resourceful commune is highly recommended!
