This small commune of 1,087 inhabitants is located in the Vexin regional park. An impressive planted driveway on the D169 from Longuesse leads to the historic entrance to the village of Vigny. A château pavilion with two piers topped by statues of Jesus and the Virgin welcomes visitors. Arriving in the village center, you'll discover the church and the Cardinal d'Amboise's magnificent château, a majestic early 16th-century residence where time seems to have stood still. Although only visible through the gates, it's well worth a visit. Don't miss the pretty octagonal dovecote on the Beauséjour farm.
