This small rural village is nestled at the birth of the picturesque Aubette valley, in the heart of the French Vexin regional nature park. Its church, surrounded by a charming centuries-old cemetery, was built from the 13th to the 16th century. It stands opposite an important farm, typical of the region. The landscape is completed by the castle, with its elegant classical elevation, in front of a vast French parterre. The Val d'Oise archaeological museum is located here, and the commune, which has barely more than 150 inhabitants (one of the least populated in the department, and even in the region) offers a quiet living environment, close to Pontoise.
