This village, whose history goes back to antiquity, is located at the limit of Ile-de-France, Normandy and Picardy. Until the 12th century, it was called Sanctus Gervasius, after its 9th century church, which housed the relics of Saint Gervais, originally kept in Rouen but moved to protect them from Viking incursions. This charming village is rich in architectural heritage (old wash house, Magnitot castle from the 18th century, Saint-Gervais-et-Saint-Protais church from the 16th century, presbytery from the 19th century, calvaries, Dançon cross, Gueptant castle from the 18th century, etc.).
