It is a picturesque village formed by three hamlets (Ciglio, Chigliacci, Cotone). Very old in its high part, the hamlet of Ciglio high perched, the eagle's nest offers a splendid view of the Campoloro. This hamlet was the real crossroads between the Pièves of Alesani, Campolori and Tavagna before the new road to the Alesani valley passes through the hamlet of Chigliacci. It is also a good starting point to discover the nearby mountain, such as, for example, Punta-di-Travu (876 m) and Mount Cime Tonde (1 013 m), as well as a very little known site, Santa-Maria-a-Vecchia. In what was probably a prehistoric site; in the middle of the ruins there is a Romanesque chapel. The hamlet of Chigliacci, with its high bourgeois houses, testifies to another time, and the richness of its inhabitants at a time, or mills, gardens, fruit trees made the village rich.
