Moltifao is located on the side of a mountain range whose highest peak is Monte Padro facing the needles of Popolasca. There is a beautiful Romanesque church, the Annunziata, remarkable for its stone, its well-preserved old apse and its fine bell tower, in a hilltop village. There is a river for swimming in the summer or canoeing in the spring and even a via ferrata to the Manicella. Two bridges allow you to cross the Asco to reach the village: the Caccia bridge at Pontare on the main access road (one of the few Genoese bridges in Corsica with four arches), the D47 and the Ponte Vechju on the D647 road.
