How can you have the privilege of discovering Corsica's animals in their natural environment? This is the original and unique concept Gérard came up with to share his passion for flora and fauna by creating the Eco Parc de la Vallée de l'Asco. Set in two hectares of forest, where he has intervened as little as possible, in a preserved biotope, this former trainer at the Centre Permanent d'Initiative pour l'Environnement (CPIE) will introduce you to the secret life of the inhabitants of the forest and our gardens, while you can admire them up close and ask all the questions that pop into your head. The secret? Gérard reproduces the animals in resin, and his specimens are so close to the real thing that real models passing by let themselves be taken in! You'll discover flora and fauna as you've never seen them before, right in their natural habitat: Sitelle de Corse, Tortue d'Herman, Renard, Faucon chasseur de Palombe, Belette, Bécasse... Near the natural pond you'll see the Crapaud, the Cistude, the Grenouille... you'll look in the trees or hidden close to the ground for the blackbird in its nest, the fawn, the woodpecker, the dormouse, the Sicilian lizard and the salamander... Enchanting and educational at the same time, the tour continues with an introduction to the flora and fauna. For example, do you know what the jay is capable of, in addition to its distinctive cry?
