Travel Guide Valle-Di-Mezzana

Valle-di-Mezzana is a group of three hamlets overlooking Ajaccio, in the middle of a green landscape of terraced crops, gardens and wooded hills. Restored, the village still offers some old pink granite houses, outside stairs, and beautiful vaults. The parish church of Saint-Michel of medieval origin, away from the village, is surmounted by an arcaded bell tower. Note that its furniture comes from the ruined Franciscan convent, located nearby, where a beautiful statue of St. Francis can be seen. A picturesque road leads to the village and passes through the Chuivoni creeks.
