Between sea and mountain, the village is built at the foot of a hill, and has kept all its authenticity. Its narrow streets show beautiful stone houses with high staircases, and the whole is guarded by the ruins of the Genoese tower on the Olmeto point. In the surrounding area you can discover the famous Uomo di Cagna, the Man of Cagne, a rock balanced on the mountain (1,217 m) whose shape evokes that of a human face. To the north of the village you can reach the Santa Monaca chapel. The hamlet also has several prehistoric and Roman remains, such as furniture and a carved Venus.
