Sotta is a village composed of several hamlets with troglodytic houses. The hamlet of Chera is a beautiful example of southern architecture and there is a rock shelter, the Orriu, where shepherds used to stop for transhumance . There are several prehistoric remains in the municipality, such as the necropolis of Vascolacciu. Towards the tip of Castello, one reaches the ruins of an ancient castle, once the feud of the tyrannical lord Orso Alemanno. In Chera, you can see the ruins of the ancient chapel of Sant'Agostino and Santa-Ursula. The village festival is on November 11th and many walks are possible in the surrounding area.
