Halfway between Ajaccio and Propriano, in the middle of forests and mountains, as its name suggests, the village is marked by the ancient power of the Ornano family, of which only a few castle ruins remain today. In this typical Corsican village, you can wander among the old stone houses. The parish church features three paintings donated by Cardinal Fesch, as well as a 17th-century Christ. You can also see the ruins of the medieval church of Saint-Vincent, from which the Christ that still adorns the parish church comes.
