Since March 2023, this Acebuche has replaced the former Pintada. Chef Axel Guilbert, who previously worked in the kitchens of Barcelona's Disfrutar restaurant, is at the helm. His aim: to create a gourmet restaurant showcasing local produce, executed with a personal touch. Don't hesitate to try star dishes such as Cazorla trout or cordero segureño (local lamb), and finish with a dessert combining cookie and virgin olive oil ice cream. Enjoy in the lounge or on the orange-tree patio.

Located next to Bib Rambla Square and the entrance to the main square of the Cathedral, El Pescaito offers a very good selection of fish in a pleasant environment where you can spend a good time during your stay. We recommend croquetones de gamba o bacalao, tortitas de camarones, mariscada or el arroz con bogavante. To be enjoyed in a room or on a terrace, on a pedestrian street.

In a huge area entirely decorated with bullfighting, old and contemporary posters, two large chimneys operate continuously to cook grilled, fish and other chorizitos. Ideal for taking the pulse of this calle feria, one of Seville's up-and-coming streets. And ideal too for beer lovers, given its reputation as a "temple" of good beer, which flows easily. Serve with a tapeo of mussels, cod, traditional Andalusian mojama, a fillet of dried tuna and a few olives. And let's not forget the house vermouth, with its orangey taste, which is also very famous. And it's all done standing up, even if a few tables and chairs have been added. But every pleasure is worth its trouble...

The large terrace of this address is often packed. And with good reason: the menu of tapas and raciones, all homemade and tasty, is very extensive. We also come to see Juan Antonio, the owner, who serves, greets tables, laughs, chatters... all the character that makes up the restaurant's atmosphere. If you prefer to dine a little more quietly, or for two, a pretty little room is available inside. As for the dishes, the rabo de toro and the Arroz negro con choco are well worth the detour.

The cuisine is based on the great classics of Andalusian gastronomy, which will allow you to try some of their signature dishes such as "rabo de toro" (a kind of stew), "fritura de pescado" (a kind of fish fry) or "carne a la brasa" (a kind of stew). You can also enjoy their two terraces, one on the emblematic Calle Navas and the other, more quiet, on Calle Sarabia.

There will be little tastes of France and theatre for those who will have the chance to come and eat in this place. Opened since the beginning of 2018 by Juan Lú Fernández, chef de cuisine at the Aponiente restaurant for 10 years. On the theatre side, it is the art of cooking and the products that are highlighted. Located in the centre of the restaurant, the kitchen functions as an "island" according to the chef and will allow you to follow the preparation of the dishes live. Either sitting on the barras on either side of the central island, or from a few tables, accompanied by their Louis XVI style chairs. And the prepared products, essential according to the chef, are displayed with all the honour they deserve. On the French side, you can enjoy a Bresse duck with Périgordine sauce, poultry raised in France and a whole series of sauces such as gribiche or beurre blanc. Not to mention of course the seafood from the Bay of Cadiz. Baba or chocolate soufflé can close the meal. With a wine list that logically favours Jerez wines.

Nice bright red space for this house installed in the pedestrian center. You can sit there or prefer the terrace or the barra, between the two. The products are fresh and of good quality and the touch is deliberately modern, with a menu composed, in part, of woks, ceviches and tataki. We like the black rice wok with chipirones and aioli or why not the millefeuille with liver and goat cheese. For dessert, you should try the homemade soufflé, a recipe that has been maintained since the creation of the restaurant and that continues to delight choco addicts.

It will be necessary to climb to the top of the village to find this garden of flavours opened in 2017, but the climb will be rewarded by the beautiful views of the Barranco de Poqueira, both from the cosy dining room and from the large terrace that dominates it. On the menu, there will be local flavours such as choto al ajo, cabrito or migas alpujarreñas but also Indian flavours since, when emigrating from the province of Almeria, the owners took their Indian cook with them. And they did well, the chicken tikka masala is tasty just like the Gulab jamun for dessert. So many flavours that you can also enjoy in tapas.

In the category "good restoration plans", perhaps among the best kept secrets of the granadina capital… Tucked in the "duck palace", this th century palacio-shop, hides a high-dress table, both in the kitchen (refined with fresh products), the service (applied and well informed) and the framework: modern gallery with fountain overlooking terrace in the outside garden. Admittedly the rates presented in this Senzone (name of restaurants in the Hospes luxury Hotel chain) are in keeping with the rank of the establishment but lunch or tapas dinner, as is customary in Granada and everywhere in Andalusia, remains very accessible. But, chut! We don't want to know too much, to keep the "exclusive" aspect. Behind the grids of this closed 5-star space, the spectacular urchin ballet ballet, on bed of large white salt, ris calf to season mushrooms, wild duck mallard or fish according to batch (like a San Pedro in the oven and its polenta) before ending with a flowing, bitter orange sauce… Presentation to point and innovative author cuisine… Privilege reserved for a rather international clientele or national (good families!).

Some Andalous simply hate the word «Gastrobar», this is basically a modern bar concept serving as a semi-gastronomic author kitchen in tapas portions, but not only. In the heart of town, this place decorated by the words of the dictionary of the city and appreciated by a demanding audience presents fresh specialities rather than fries or plancha: tuna and avocado tartare, beet salmorejo and gambas, ajoblanco to mushrooms, coki salgado (fausse cone surmounted by a quail egg)… Very fashionable and living with these times of crisis (rimant with the development of miniature, more economical!).

A beautiful location on the Plaza de la Constitución for this restaurant which offers a pretty terrace under the arcades that we will be keen to rally to engage in the art of tapeo, an area in which it excels. If the Palenga has taken over the square since the early 2000s, it has been taken over since 2010 by the son Juan Jésus, who has maintained his position as a "traditional family cuisine" while giving it a fresh look, both in terms of decoration and on the plates. After a seasonal "ensalada", you can let yourself be tempted by the carrillera de cerdo, if possible accompanied by the red or white wine produced by the house. Fruity and very pleasant. Located right in the center of Huelva, on a small street perpendicular to Calle Perdigón, this tavern is renowned above all for the quality of its hams. They sit majestically behind the bar. You'll also appreciate the grilled meats and fish, and the prawns al ajillo (garlic shrimps). But there's always room for something sweet, like homemade tarts with turrón, chocolate and cheese. You can sit inside in one of the dining areas or on the terrace overlooking a pedestrian street. Fast, pleasant service.
