Completely restored by the City, the fabulous Art Pavilion and its rooftop terrace serving the funicular have been found for a few years. This small museum - opened in 1998 - is located in the small village of Archingeay. Installed in the old school of the village, it allows a dive in the beginning of the ^XXth century. The scenes evoke the daily life of a housewife: enamelled coffee pots, cake moulds, scales, as well as curiosities, toys, fashion... The visit is both amusing and moving! Not to be missed after the tour: a magnificent collection of boxes (1880-1930).

At the Army's Light Aviation Museum and Helicopter, 2 500 m ² of expo, dotted with more than 30 aircraft, is dedicated to the history of the army's light aviation and helicopter in particular. You will learn a lot about the history of the aeronautical adventure and the laws of gravity through which the helicopter holds its flight secrets. The museum of the Archaeological and Historical Society of the Charente has existed since 1845 and has changed its place several times, it is now and since the post-war street of Montmoreau, in the house of Jean George who remains its residence at the Archaeological and Historical Society of the Charente.
