MUSEUM OF EARTHENWARE AND TABLE ARTS

Samadet has left its mark on the Tursan region, becoming famous for its "Manufacture Royale de Fayence ", founded in 1732, which for almost 100 years produced the richly decorated and distinctive pieces for which it is famous. The Musée Départemental (3 km from town) tells the story of Samadet earthenware and tableware through three permanent exhibition halls. Parent-child workshops are organized during the vacations.
