Set in a wooded park in Mussidan, this 19thᵉ century chartreuse houses a museum dedicated to the traditions and daily lives of Périgourdins of yesteryear. From gastronomy to crafts, agriculture and industry, it brings together nearly 5,000 objects testifying to local know-how and the evolution of the territory. La visite guidée de ce Musée fût une trés belle découverte et un réel bonheur... À l'arrivée un accueil très chaleureux suivi d'une visite parfaitement commentée (merci à nôtre guide du jour) .

Un "petit" musee absolument extraordinaire. Ethnographie, histoire, économie, Famille du Dr VOULGRE...
TOUT ETAIT PASSIONNANT.

Énorme travail se référencées des objets, meubles, tableaux. Tout est ici très professionnel.

Visite très intéressante de ce musée situé dans une chartreuse ,elle-même dans un parc romantique aux deux maisons doubleaudes reconstituées . L' accueil est sympathique ( et c'est important : ) . Outre les collections qui racontent les métiers d'autrefois , j'ai particulièrement aimé la reconstitution de la vie bourgeoise d'antan . Je recommande la visite .
