Housed in a handsome 17th-century mansion, this museum brings together natural history collections, archaeological objects and works of art... Children will love the stuffed fox, wolf, polar bear and Egyptian mummy. Also discover Limousin enamels, Louis XVI furniture, paintings by the Crozant School, Gallo-Roman objects, Rodin sculptures, Ming vases... And enjoy the botanical garden!

Most beautiful, it is the building. Museum general quite rich in quantity, a month in quality and very messy. Frozen in a collection of 1910. You go from the ancient coins, with stuffed squirrel and painting without genius of the school of Crozant in almost the same space. Would need to see with vacuum-clean. Some good paintings from the 17 and 18c, but no major work. Beautiful section on the fauna creusoise that children must like.
