The best museums New Aquitaine

Rurart is a contemporary art center located in Rouillé, Vienne. Rurart offers several exhibitions a year, accompanied by extensive educational work with school audiences. The art center also supports contemporary creation by producing works by renowned artists such as Michel Blazy, Eva Kotatkova, Eduardo Kac and Koen Vanmechelen. In addition to its exhibitions, Rurart is also a multimedia center offering workshops, training courses and personalized support in the use of new technologies. For some years now, the art center has been exploring more specifically issues related to electronic play, and offers workshops throughout the year, such as the creation of a sound Escape Game. Finally, Rurart is part of a regional network of cultural initiatives in rural areas, developing projects for the dissemination and production of exhibitions, live performances, artist residencies and international cultural cooperation.

When you cross the traffic circle leading to Biarritz Ocean and the two structures that are the Biarritz Aquarium and the Cité de l'Océan, you cannot remain indifferent in front of the impressive 10 meter high sculpture, the Lady of the Sea. "La Dame de la Mer" unfurls the waves of its impressive aluminum hair, marking with force the arrival on the site. Designed by the Spanish artist Manolo Valdès, known for his Meninas inspired by those of Velázquez, who draws his inspiration from Picasso and Matisse.
