FRANÇOIS MITTERRAND MUSEUM

It is in Jarnac, his native town, that the François Mitterrand Museum is naturally located. This museum is the fourth and last donation of the former president. The donation room contains more than a hundred objects offered to the President by personalities from all over the world. In the second part of the museum, the room of capital architecture, the visitor is invited to discover the models of the major works carried out during two septennia, such as the National Library of France or the Bastille Opera House... Finally, a space is also reserved for an annual exhibition on various themes.
